Tips to boost your metabolism
- Drink one glass of tomato/vegetable juice a day, it has been proven to boost your metabolism.
- Get enough of B vitamins.
- Eat more protein, the body burns up to twice as many calories digesting protein as it uses for fat or carbohydrates.
- Black Coffee. Avoid the fancy coffee from starbucks, they have about an average of 300 calories, whilst black coffee [and sweetener] doesn't have any calories.
- Caffeine pills work if you're sick of drinking coffee.
- Green tea, it's proven that it raises your metabolism and the anti oxidants are good for your skin.
- Drink ice cold water, it makes your body burn calories by trying to warm up your body.
- Eat spicy foods. Sometimes I mix lemonade with cayenne pepper and drink it [very fast, because it's gross].
- Sleep at least 6 hours a night. If you sleep less that 6 hours, you can decrease your metabolism with 15%.
- Spread your food throughout the the day, it keeps your metabolism going.
- Sit up straight, you burn 10% more calories this way.
- Move all the time, wiggle! Every calorie counts.
- Always put ice cubes in your water.
- Breathe deeply.
